Unique Elements
The deep red of these stones glows against navy, smolders with cream, tan or beige and gives old Hollywood contrast next to yellow. Try them and mix it up!

Garnet The name garnet, from the Latin granatas, meaning seed, refers to red garnets, which can look like pomegranate seeds. Garnets come in many colors, from yellow, pink, white, colorless, orange to red to brown to green. Garnets have featured in jewelry throughout time, with red almandine garnets in particular featuring in Roman as well as Victorian jewels. Rose cut garnets from Bohemia (Czech Republic) were particularly popular during the Victorian era. Other popular varieties include green demantoid and tsavorite garnets.
