Unique Elements
In a romantic mood? These dreamy earrings feature the soft light cast by rose cut diamonds surrounding an aquamarine that casts just a hint of moonlight. Wear these with your favorite bohemian look, for day or night.

Aquamarine Latin for seawater, aquamarine is a green-blue to blue variety of beryl. Known for its clarity, this stone can be found in very large sizes. Aquamarine is the March birthstone.

Rose Cut The rose cut originated in the 1500's and were cut by hand and meant to be beautiful in the candlelight conditions of the time. The name 'rose" for this cut comes from its facets, which are said to resemble petals in a rose bud. The rose cut features a flat base and domed top featuring 3 to 24 facets. As this cut has a flat base, it gives a softer, gentler light than a fully faceted brilliant cut. It also gives a larger face-up appearance than a brilliant cut of similar carat weight, as it carries all of its weight above the flat base.

Step Cut A Step-cut, which includes emerald and baguette-cuts, is a rectangular cut with faceting in steps. This style highlights the clarity and color of the stone. The Princess Cut features a straight sided rectangular outline with brilliant style faceting - a mix between step cut and brilliant cut. The "Calf's Head" is a less common step cut that resembles a triangle with the cut corners, thought to resemble a calf's head.

Tallin In Sanskrit, to become ‘Tallin’ is to become passionately absorbed by something, almost to distraction, and the Ghiya family is passionate about precious gems and handcrafted jewelry. Founder Brijesh Ghiya apprenticed as a stone cutter and gem dealer from age 17 and began dealing to global jewelry houses from Germany in 1972. In 1980, he relocated to Italy, where the house continues to supply every major Italian jeweler, known for sourcing and cutting of cabochon gemstones that have featured prominently in Italian high jewelry from the 1980s on. In the early 2000s, the family established a jewelry atelier in Jaipur, India and in 2016, son Akshat combined his training in green materials and recycling with the family passion for jewels to found Tallin as a stand alone fine jewelry brand. Tallin has been worn by Bollywood royalty such as Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor, among many others.
