Unique Elements
The design of these hoop earrings illustrates the creativity of the house of David Webb. Rather than the standard hoop terminating in a post, these earrings curve onto the ear with a specially designed magnetic clip closure that creates a full curve of diamonds all the way around the ear. Fun to look at and even more fun to wear!

Round Brilliant-Cut The Round Brilliant Cut dates back to 1919, when Marcel Tolkowsky calculated a formula for proportional diamond design to maximize fire, brilliance and wearability, published as “Diamond Design: A Study of the Reflection and Refraction of Light in Diamond.” A round brilliant diamond can also be called a full cut diamond if it features the cutting standard of 57 or 58 facets.

David Webb David Webb founded his eponymous company in 1948 in New York, becoming known for whimsical animal motifs including zebra, snakes, tigers and panthers among others. Before his passing in 1975, Webb was firmly established as a Hollywood favorite, with famous clients including Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
