Unique Elements
Literally a twist on a classic diamond band ring, this Oscar Heyman and Brothers platinum ring works for day or evening on its own, or stacked with any of the diamond bands in our collection.

Round Brilliant-Cut The Round Brilliant Cut dates back to 1919, when Marcel Tolkowsky calculated a formula for proportional diamond design to maximize fire, brilliance and wearability, published as “Diamond Design: A Study of the Reflection and Refraction of Light in Diamond.” A round brilliant diamond can also be called a full cut diamond if it features the cutting standard of 57 or 58 facets.

Oscar Heyman and Brothers, Inc. Oscar and Nathan Heyman established Oscar Heyman and Brothers, Inc. in New York in 1912. Known as “the jeweler’s jeweler,” Heyman produced jewels for houses including Shreve and Co. and Tiffany and Co. as well as under their own name. Heyman is known for the “invisible setting” – presenting gems perfectly matched to fit next to each other with no visible metal, as they are set into hidden tracks holding them in place. Famous Heyman clients include Elizabeth Taylor, Nancy Reagan, President Jimmy Carter and Frank Lloyd Wright.
