Unique Elements
These cufflinks show just how impressive the artisans of Tiffany and Co. have always been, with their finely detailed glittering blue scales and glowing golden tails. These are equally amazing with a seersucker suit, a navy winter weight suit and a tuxedo. Wear them with a French cuff shirt without a jacket as well – they make your look complete.

Enamel Enamel is a coating applied to metals using high temperatures to produce glassy vivid colors. This technique has been used throughout time, by the ancient Persians, ancient Egyptians, in China, Rome, Greek, Celtic territories, and the Byzantine Empire. Key styles include the cloisonné technique, known as the "cell technique," where are placed in a desired pattern and the spaces are then filled with enamel, as well as Champlevé, where patterns are inset on a thicker plate. Guilloché , associated with both Fabergé and Cartier, is symmetrical engraving produced by the Rose-Engine machine, invented in the early 1800s.

Tiffany and Co. Founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany, the house has become one of the most famous jewelers in the world, with its iconic blue box. In 1878 the company acquired the 287.42 diamond now known as the Tiffany Diamond from South Africa. This stone was worn by Audrey Hepburn in a necklace in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 1961. Tiffany & Co named Kunzite in 1902, Morganite in 1910, Tanzanite in the 1960s and Tsavorite in 1974. The house has collaborated with designers including Jean Schlumberger and Donald Claflin ( since 1955), Paloma Picasso ( since 1980) and Elsa Perreti( since 1974) and has been worn by royalty throughout the world.
