Demi-Parure Demi-Parure are pieces of matching jewelry that are designed to be worn together, though fewer than a full set or parure; dates from the second half of the 16th century, and traditionally, when a parure involved six or seven pieces, a demi-parure was a three-piece suite of (usually) a necklace, earrings, and a brooch.

Parentesi The repeated motif of the Parentesi collection comes from the travertine junctions used to link the stone blocks of the city of Rome, Italy. Each Parentesi piece is designed in modules, or in repeated links connected together. Developed in the 1980s, this collection is Bulgari’s first day to evening offering, with pieces that are intended to work equally well in the boardroom as in the ballroom.

Bulgari Founded in Rome in 1884 by Sotirios Voulgaris, who changed his name to Bulgari, the company continued to expand after World War 2 with the introduction of its renowned Serpenti collection of bracelet-watches. During the 1950s and 60s Bulgari continued to make its name for use of multi-colored stones, creating pieces for Elizabeth Taylor, Ingrid Bergman and Gina Lollobrigida. Today the house continues to be known for angular forms, strong colors, cabochon gems and enduring collections such as Serpenti and Parentesi.
